Boxing Day Haul

Yes. Mittens. ONLY. It was on sale, 2 pairs for $15. Disappointed? As expected.. 2011 boxing day was better compared to last year. So many people lining up in front of VS and I was surprised because they were not having huge sale. Dude, VS is on sale every fucking time I visit the store. And a very long lineups in front of Coach, Lacoste, Michael Kors, well I don't even know they're lining up for which store because the stores are next to each other. H&M was on sale, it was cheap I have to admit but not applicable to all of the items. Forever 21.. the yellow tag deals (they have it everyday though) was on sale, other items wasn't on sale. Not to mention the VERY LONG QUEUE to pay your items. If you're buying something in bulk, yea maybe it is worth it. But for one dress? Plus the queue and the crowded store? No, thank you. 40% off entire store for A|X but heck.. one jacket is like $400++? No thank you. I really wanted to buy a winter coat but S size is too big/bulky for me. Super pissed off man. What the heck?? Even if they fit nicely on my body, they are going to be super long (longer than a normal girl would wear) and part tangan selalu masalah. Can't even see my hands wei. Macam pakai telekung. So I went to the department stores.. to the kids section! :'( Found one but not on sale so yeah it's ok.. maybe next time

To be honest, I rather shop online. No smelly armpits and long queue.

Maybelline Stiletto Ultimate Precision Liquid Eyeliner

Quite cheap, less than $10, you can get this at any major drugstore. It lasts a long time. I love that the handle is designed to be 'short', thus giving me much more control so I don't have to tug on my delicate eyelid skin. Felt tip - which I love, I prefer the felt tip over the brush ones - as I said before, great for beginner. Will not smudge by itself - unless you rub your eyes area. However, if you're not removing it properly using makeup remover, this will give you the panda eyes effect. You get what I mean right. One thing I dislike about this eyeliner, it is not fully matte. I'm not sure if it is meant to be matte, but this one is not matte, it has this 'shiny' effect. Repurchase? Maybe..

L'Oreal Lineur Intense Liquid Eyeliner

Price is similar to Maybelline Stiletto. The handle is longer and less control compared to Maybelline Stiletto. Felt tip. Easy to remove, doesn't smudge, lasts for a long time. And not matte as well. Repurchase? Maybe..

I'm not a makeup junkie - I don't have 5 different black liquid eyeliner at once. What a waste! They gonna go bad after few months, I don't want to apply something that has gone bad on my skin especially my eyes area - I might get infections dude! Same goes to mascara. I know some people said I've used this for years, and they are still good. I mean yes, you can't see germs but you know it's there. I know you're supposed to throw your mascara every 3 months? I prolly used mine more than 3 months but if it is cheap, I will just throw it away. And this is why I love mini makeups! Let's just admit, we have so many full sized products that we hate but we are just so lazy to return it and keep wondering geez where has all my money gone? Which comes to my second point, this ultimate mascara sampler set. I just added a new item on my wishlist. :)

I wanted to go to California with my fellow friends from Tennessee, then I thought wow girl you have spent a lot of money last Summer, if you wanna go to California for 2 weeks, you gotta need at least $1500, heck, that's a lot of money. I barely have any savings in hand. I know I will end up ask more money from my parents..... which is not nice! So I decided to stay here this winter. Well I wanna try snowboarding and ice skating, so this might be a good time for me to do so. :)

You will be missed, sky high! Till then <3

PS: This picture was taken by me using my iPhone last Spring, when I was on my way to Montreal. It was somewhere late April or early May, some part of Canada was still covered with snow. I think, I THINK, this was taken when I passed Manitoba? Oh how I miss my iPhone! Well I actually miss having a phone!!

I picked two items from my never ending wishlist to be presented to the santa!

1. Blackberry 9360

Yes it's true I hate blackberry. Yes it's true they suck. I'm a proud owner of iPhone.. or used to..... T_T Life is hard without a phone, instead of saying "call me/text me/bbm me/whatsapp me", I said "email me,inbox me" -___- I was applying this job and during the interview I had to specifically tell them to notify me via email and had to put a fake number on my resume. I don't find iPhone 4S is amusing enough so I'll just wait for another one. I specifically want this blackberry because I heard good reviews about this blackberry. Had blackberry a while ago and I frikkin hate it. This one is cheap I can get it for $200. I'm not putting high hopes on the quality of the camera/picture, knowing blackberry, they have the ugliest crappiest camera ever.

2. Canon Rebel T3i/ EOS 600D

I took pictures mostly from my iPhone. So no iphone is equivalent to no pictures, thus no new blogpost. A good digital camera is around $500, this dSLR comes with two lenses the cheapest I've found is around $900. Yes it is expensive but I've finally decided to invest my money on a good camera. Crappy crappy digital camera you can all go to the trash can. This camera is capable to take a very decent quality videos. Having said that, I'm not going to film myself and be a makeup guru on Youtube, I just want to start taking random videos around me, compile it, and save a copy for myself in future. I'm not going to buy this ASAP, heck, I don't have that much money left in my piggy bank but soon.. yes! SOOON! How soon is soon? I don't knoww :)

So Dear Santa, if you're real and kind-hearted, kindly please drop these two items on Christmas. I'll be waiting.. 25 days and counting! Mmmwah!

PS: Can't wait to receive three boxes of pretty and exciting stuff that I got for myself recently. Gonna rave about it soon, stay tuned :D

My Food Guide based on my diet and preference. Wow good to know that I don't overeat. I might not be skinny but my current weight is below 50 and my BMI is normal. I have made the right choice by not consuming too much meat (mainly because I'm so friggin lazy to cook) and I love fruits. I was so excited yesterday that there's no snow yet here in Edmonton, guess what, it was actually snowing when I was writing the blogpost, my windows were covered with blinds so I have no idea what is happening outside. I woke up this morning and saw my friend posted pics of Edmonton already covered in a white blanket last night. Silly me -_-

The snow is finally here. And will not stop until probably April next year. Everything is going to be colourless. The most depressing season is finally here. Yes, winter is not awesome if you live near the Arctic, freaking cold, keluar pergi sekolah balut muka macam ninja nampak mata je. Maybe I should try snowboarding or skiing, who knows I might fall in love with that sport.

By the freaking way, just wanna share some pics on what's going on in my kitchen. I don't normally cook now, because... whatever that reason might be.

I had to use cream cheese instead of mascarpone cheese since I can't find it in the local grocery store. Cream cheese might not be a good substitute I must say.. I give myself 1.5 stars out of 5. LOL

Cajun Chicken Caesar Salad minus the chicken lol

I love Cajun Chicken Caesar Salad like the one served at TGI's Friday. Too bad we don't have any TGI over here.. I only got 1 hour break between classes for lunch so I quickly got back home and make myself this salad without the chicken. No time to marinade, grill etc. It is definitely a healthy option for lunch instead of plain rice with some curry chicken isn't it? It took me literally 5 minutes to prepare this. All you need is some romaine lettuce, caesar dressing, parmesan cheese and croutons! Toss everything together and wallah there you go.

I don't like to eat rice and neither pasta. In a month I probably had rice for less than 5 times? I want Char Kuey Teow, Bihun Tomyam, mee goreng mamak, maggi goreng mamak for lunch/dinner. So sad actually. It's been a year already. Going back next June I don't freaking care!!!

Super Bored Super Pointless

I know this blog is so unntractive, bersawang bla bla bla. I swear I wanted to post something and I did... but halfway. Here's the proof

Out of so many drafts, only two got published successfully. I shall try not to do things halfway.. what to do. Got other things to be completed. Today is holiday in Canada (only for certain province). They are celebrating Remembrance Day, I see people walking around with red poppy pin on their coat so thoughtful! Not doing anything one whole day make me wanna punch myself in da face. Seriously poyo gila bunyi but that is the truth. I feel like I'm wasting my time, 5 hours of not doing anything but on youtube? Damn I can at least get two homework done! See what school has done to me. I used to be the lazy kid.. to be honest, I never actually do my homework in highschool, such a waste of time.

September was ok, October was ok, November is crazy! All of a sudden I have so many shits needed to be done. Getting on my nerves! All good, I stayed up only once this semester because I was cramming for Statistics exam. I've been getting enough sleep everyday and I'm so happy about it. No food I'm ok, no sleep I will be a bitch for the whole week.

Anyways, no plans for winter break this year! I've spent a lot of money last Summer went camping, Tennessee, Chicago and now my piggy bank has shrunk. So I will be staying at home during winter break, sit by the window on a rocking chair, watching the snow fall while sippin my hot chocolate..... T__T Speaking of snow I'm so happy that there's no snow (yet) and the coldness is still tolerable. Last year it was snowing like crazy, I used the same route to class everyday and it was snowing overnight and when I went to school the next day, the route I used to take can't be identified, all covered with snow up to my knees. -_-

Snow is no fun I tell you. Ok I gotta go.. I need to finish on this two novels before I can start working on my essay which is due soon! About to sit for final exam in exactly a month. Jizz in ma pants yo'.

The first item I bought is Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque. This product received a 5 star review from many makeup gurus. I actually have their leave-in conditioner and the smell is pretty good too. Yes when I was in high school I was struggling with hair loss. Tried every freaking thing that you can imagine and none of them worked on me. Pretty sad. So when I came to Canada, I vow not to use any chemical products (parabens etc) on my hair anymore. My hair loss problem stopped when I switched to Burts Bees Shampoo and Big Shampoo from LUSH. Dulu dekat Malaysia bangun tido bosan, pergi berjalan, tengok movie, you know, stuff like that. Dekat sini bangun tido bosan siot, roger orang sini, ade assignment, roger orang sana, ade midterm esok. Bapak ah bosannye. (Sebenarnya ade je assignment tp kalau asek fikir assignment je boleh naik gila kot?) Jadi sekarang ni bangun pagi usha email, usha youtube, How To Make this and that. Yes, dah setahun tak balik Malaysia dah kempunan kaw kaw kaw kaw sat.

The other day I made some Soto Ayam with Mary... hampeh. Tak sedap bluwek.

Asek tengok orang makeup je dekat youtube bosan sudah. Bukan cantik pun kang aku pakai tah hape hape benda tepek kat muka. So sekarang ni dok tengok youtube cara nak masak tu, cara nak masak ni. I know, so makcik makcik. Biarla...... bukan I ajak you tengok pon kan.

I found this makcik Laura on Youtube. So syiok lah wa cakap sama lu tengok dia masak. Senang je, pap pap pap dah siap. So macam biasa pengaruh media kan lepas usha 3-4kali youtube video dia I pun melangkah kaki pergi beli bahan-bahan nak buat Red Velvet Cake. I did once, pefff, dah lah tak naik, tak comel, kaler hambar. So the recent Red Velvet Cake (it's actually PINK) I made is better (not perfect yet, I just bake twice what.. give chance la)

Google the recipe, dude this is super easy! But then I was thinking... where on earth can I get perisa Rose/sirap. The answer is to make on your own!

Rose/Sirap Recipe
Water
Granulated Sugar
Red food colouring
Pandan leaves
Vanilla extract

Boil everything together and wallah. That's easy.

Then I'm wondering... where on earth can I get Ice Cream Soda cap F&N.

Chances that you might not be able to get this F&N ice cream soda at your local store forever but here's the substitute (after some research LOL google je padahal)

Nampak macam botol arak je.. but nope, it is cream soda! I bought this at the local convenient store for $1.79 so cheap!

Now cut this bullshit, teach me how to make the Susu Soda Gembira.

Susu Soda Gembira Recipe
2 tbsp Condensed Milk
2 tbsp Rose/Sirap that I just made
1 bottle of Jones Cream Soda
Few ice cubes
Selasih (kek mano den nak cari ni...)

Mix the condensed milk with ice cube, rose/sirap, stir vigorously (exaggerate je ni), pour the cream soda and wallah. You can add selasih, dragon druit pun boleh, tapioca bubble tea tu pun boleh LOL... Cheers!

Forgot to check in online. Don't know what the heck happened, I was assigned the same seat with a lady and the flight was almost full, the stewardess told me that I might have to wait for another flight then. How is this even possible? I waited patiently, and yes there's an empty seat, next to the emergency exit. God knows how shit scared I was, if you have to seat next to an emergency exit you are the one who is responsible to open the door, eventhough accidents are not likely to happen on air, but shit happens all the time.

From Tennessee to Denver Airport, Colorado, we arrived 30 mins earlier but the pilot told us that he can't 'park' the plane yet because there's another plane blocking. 40 mins transit, should be okay, my next flight is at 6:40 and it's 6PM now. Should be okay. Should be okay.

I got off the plane 5 mins before my next flight to Edmonton, and I don't even know where is the gate. Heard the last call announcement and I was running at the speed of light. Sigh. That's ok, as long as I don't miss my flight.

Got off the plane from Edmonton, went through the customs again and waited patiently for my luggage. I waited until that moving thing (don't know what that thing is called) stop moving, panicked, a guy came to me and asked me to fill up the form as my luggage might be delayed/missing somewhere. Sad. Seriously?? I have all my freaking thing inside my luggage, luckily I have my house keys in hand.

Arrived home safely, and to top it off, I realized that I left my laptop's charger in Nashville. Two weeks has passed, I still don't have the charger with me.

Oh about the luggage, they send it to my house the next day at 2PM.

I had a beautiful summer with a sad ending.

Mom will be going under the knife early next week, my thoughts and prayers are with my family in Malaysia. Happy Birthday to me and my two brothers. (Yes, our birthdays are on September) If you guys are getting a cake, please don't forget to put my name and tag me on facebook.

I just realized that I'm supposed to celebrate my 20th birthday this year. I'm like WHAT? Seriously? I even asked my friends how old are we supposed to be this year. Celebrated a friend's birthday on May, threw a small party, upload the pictures on his fb, I named the album as '19th Birthday'... and today is September 2nd, I just realized that he actually turned 20 this year, not 19.

And right now everybody wants to go to Dubai.

I'm seriously badly offended because my mat salleh friends have never been to Malaysia. Seriously? They went to Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Philiphines, Cambodia... but not Malaysia? You know, if not because of these Universal Studios, theme parks over here in US, tell me who wants to go to US? (yes I nak pergi their theme parks je, I'm pretty sure some of you pun sama) Nampak dalam Superman Chicago macam awesome je.... Been there, eleh, ade building je pun. In Malaysia we have Pulau Redang, Pulau Tioman, and the islands located at Sabah Sarawak over there.. You think takde class ker? Dah lah our currency is lower, awesome beaches, perfect weather.. Since tax on branded goods dah eliminate (if I'm not mistaken this is still effective) and outlet some more.. confirm jadi pit stop for Malaysian shopaholic but I can guarantee the price is not gonna be as cheap as the one in US. Boleh lah akak akak semua glemer bimbit beg Coach kehulu kehilir nanti.

Bagus la tu ada Legoland, skang ni nak pergi theme park best sikit kena lah pergi Europe, dah la mahal nak mamp.... Theme park dekat genting tu so yesterday la. Budak budak zaman sekarang pun tahu memilih taknak pergi genting, nak pergi Disneyland jer.

The title says it all. Fat, but I'm pretty happy with my life right now. I know I can easily lose 10kgs back. Canada (and the people around me) is treating me right. Don't worry mom and dad, I just want to show you that I'm happy over here and I've had more than enough food to eat. I survived and didn't die. Alhamdulillah. The funny thing is no matter how many kgs I've gained or lost, my size will always be UK6/US2/26. I wonder why?

Hello second year, I don't want any single thing to change, except better grades. :)

I'm updating this blog, live from Chicago. YESSS. It was so random. Wanted to go to New York but siapa larat drive sampai 14 jam. Chicago dekat sikit. Bertolak at 6AM lepas subuh, sampai Purdue University tengah hari, jumpa ex schoolmate study sana, jalan2 amek gamba cari pasal then terussss sampai Chicago.

Guess kedai apa yang I first pergi masa sampai Chicago? WALMART!

Sekarang we olls stay dekat rumah this pengarah JPA (kot). Aunty masak sedap gila wei. Nasi beriani, rendang tok, puding roti, bubur ayam, seri muka, kuih bingka, manisan arab (kot).... Maigodz rumah besar... campur semua toilet je lebih besar dari rumah I kt Edmonton.

Adilah was craving for some pau/hot asian buns. So we did it! I was in charge for the kaya/coconut custard. Pergh, 100% natural, no colouring, no preservatives, just awesomeness overload. K ramai puji ok kaya I sedap. Adilah and Noryang buat dough. Nak bukak kilang kaya ar lepasni.

Around 11.30-ish malam, kaya dah siap, sementara tunggu dough tu naik we olls nak pergi tengok movie. Sampai sampai cinema dah around 12-ish dah tutup what the heck... Dah frust pergi je la walmart groceries shopping, beli buah oren, coklat, main-main kt dalam walmart (yes walmart bukak 24 hours). Balik around 2 ke 3am entah, Faiz dengan Achid nak tolong buat pau sekali. Balik balik tengok...... gemok nya dough!! Amazed sekejap. Pe lagos, mase untuk uli la, pergh punya la payah nak tutup pau tu. Masa tu la kiteorg terfikir oh patut la orang jual pau letak kertas bawah pau tu.. nak kasi melekat rupanya lol.

Long cut short, I went to Maroon 5 concert yesterday and to be honest I dislike their new songs and for me, lagu from Album Songs About Jane is the besttt. Yang baru-baru ni kureng. Dulu siapa tak hafal lagu This Love dengan She Will Be Loved gila tak cooooooool.

The end of summer

Today I made cream puffs and sad to say that...... it didn't turn out so well. Sigh I used to imagine that one day I will run a bakery/coffee shop and I'll be one who's going to bake all those delicious pastries and etc but yeah... I think by now I have to face the fact that I can only eat with no talent to cook at all. Sad.

Whatever......... I know my future husband will not ask me to cook cream puffs everyday and it is good enough because I can still cook rice successfully and some side dishes like ayam kicap, telur goreng, or cekodok udang ikan bilis. If he wants ikan stim air limau or any exotic dishes together we go to the nearest thai restaurant.. that's the end of the story. You happy I happy, by the way I just found out that according to Islam we girls don't have to cook and the husband must provide a maid.. we.. take care the kids. Muahahaha #likeaboss.

Moving on, my holiday is coming to an end. Depressing...

By now I can already imagine.... the lecture theatre. The assignments... The 25 fckn pages essay in one night... The burn-the-midnight-oil drama, with empty bottles of energy drinks next to my laptop, the ugly and puffy eyebags.. The midterm season... The I-think-I'd-rather-die moments.. The I-shouldn't-be-here drama.. The weird philosophical novel we have to memorize.. It is going to be full of drama.. Like always. Well......... it's okay. I know I will survive, somehow. Just like when I thought I'm going to fail my SPM and when I thought that I'm going to die because of too much stress and my heart was pumping so fast and it was painful, the rushed to the hospital scene.. medical leave, fighting with the lecturer and yada yada yada.

Well life is so boring, why not spice it up with a little bit of drama. Oh yeah by the way I'm going to be 20 in just few weeks! Wee Weee Weee Wee all I want for my birthday is LOTS OF LOVE, and money too.

I've been identified to be as one of the dumbest kid in school so I need to take this class that's supposed to help me to improve on.... whatever I'm lacking of. Kind of. Whatever. Like I have never been to these kind of workshops before. My university is so #lame. I might not be genius but I'm not that dumb as fck. Dah lah I'm forced to, kena bayar sendiri pulak ewah ewah ewah ingat cuti summer ni I kerja print duit ke? Bila la I nak merasa dapat $1k award because dapat lepas 3.0. Hazab kau nyah, siap sogok duit lagi tu. Pandai kau, buat grading macam taik, umpan dengan duit. Ingat we olls mata duitan? Hahaha tipu sangat.

And I've decided to work for this upcoming September because I just realized with this kind of lifestyle (bunyi nak gempak) I will not have extra money for vacation later (like now, I'm sooo broke). 4 months of torture, I SERIOUSLY DESERVE TO BE PAMPERED. Hello? I bukan gadis desa nak hiburkan hati yang lara pergi menari nari hindustan tengah sawah, naik buai ikat dekat pokok nyanyi lagu pohon beringin? lelagi bulan doblas ni.. nak suruh I gengguling atas snow jadi snowgirl to regain my sanity?

I think I'm the only girl undergrad yang tinggal dekat Alberta ni. Not that bad... boleh je hidup sebenarnya tak ada orang lain. Berdikari sikit. For example:

1. Pergi Chinatown first time sorang-sorang naik bus, after almost a year. BAHAHA
2. Pergi South Common sorang-sorang jugak naik. First timer.

Tepuk tangan sikit. I actually can live on my own, even without my housemate (she fell off the train platform and on leave). See see. I can survive. Ramadhan is approaching and memandangkan it is kinda pathetic sahur dan bukak puasa sorang-sorang I decided to spend my Ramadhan and Raya at Noryang's place. Class start lepas raya, so of course la budak-budak lain balik lambat and gile sedih beraya 5 orang je, dah la baju raya recycle yang tahun-tahun lepas punya.

I bought all the cooking supplies that can't be found there, macam Kicap Kipas Udang, Belacan, Cencalok, Telur Masin, Daun Pandan, Daun Limau, etc etc. Kau hengat sini tak makan ke belacan? Main ingredients tu! Telur Masin pun ada.... nangis kau sekarang.

I picked up a parcel at the post office (which is located in the drugstore) today and as usual, I will go through the beauty section. Just going through everything.. sometimes reviews on youtube made by the makeup gurus are fake. They get paid for reviewing so sometimes I really can't trust them, I have to see, feel and try it by myself. Again, I'm not an expert but I used to bought crappy makeup stuffs back then.

1. L'oreal Magic Smooth Souffle $21

The texture is exactly like Maybelline's Dream Matte Mouse foundation, so soft, blends easily, the texture is almost like liquid but when you apply it on your skin, the texture is so light, almost like powder and it is a little bit too dry for my liking. I tested in on my hand so I'm not sure about the coverage and how long it is going to last.

2. Sally Hansen Airbrush Spray Makeup

I'm not sure whether this product is new or what because it has been awhile since last I visited the drugstore. Can't really remember. Tried it on my skin and I thought the foundation is going to dry immediately but I was wrong. I can't really tell the airbrush effect too because I never tried airbrush makeup technique before. However, I think the coverage is pretty good.

3. L'oreal Magic Perfecting Base

I've seen makeup gurus make a review on this product together with the Magic Smooth Souffle foundation and... I don't know what to say about this. Nothing great. I still think that the Porefessional by Benefit is better and smoother.

I don't hate, I just dislike what I'm taking in university right now.

YES YES YES I LOVE TOURISM I WANT TO WORK IN TOURISM FIELD, I WANT TO TRAVEL AND ETC. BUT THANKS TO UOFA SUCKSBALLZ SO CALLED TOURISM PROGRAM, I'M STUCK IN THIS SHITTY SPORTS PROGRAM.

There, I said it. Not that I didn't make a research before I came here, I did. But I was 17, I took a look at the subjects I have to take and etc, how the eff should I know what I'm going to study about based on the title of the subject. Contohnya macam kau amek... Mathematics 113. Kau assume belajar maths la kan. Maths yang macam mana. Graph je ke, macam add maths ke, macam calculus ke, mana nak tahu what exactly you're going to study. I agree, even on jpa's website list tourism tak keluar lagi pun. We are the first batch and there's only four of us. We were a bit unlucky because we have to decide by ourself, no seniors that's expert on this field so main gamble je lah. I found someone who graduated from my program on facebook and she told me she enjoyed this program so much bla bla bla basically telling me all good stuff about it, so I was like, what can go wrong?

That explains all the kemasalan, kebencian, ketidak sukaan, ke.. macam-macam ke lagi lah sepanjang-panjang 1 semester tu. Sometimes rasa macam, why am I here again? Nak balik rumah, packing baju, beli ticket, balik Malaysia, taknak balik sini lagi dah. Tapi.. people keep saying "kau ingat aku suka ke buat engineering ni? what to do? Dah sampai sini pun, chin up girl and just go through it"

Ye. Kau ingat semua orang belajar kat sini suka sangat ape dia belajar? Memang dari kecik-kecik berangan nak jadi engineer?

Tapi... I really can't force myself to do things I hate. Kalau satu bulan takpe, but I have another 3 YEARS. Korang senang cakap, ape susah, tukar course. Kalau boleh, dah lama dah aku tukar. The policy shit and the competitive gpa la, restricted lah, itu lah ini lah. Nak tukar nanti ade high possibility kena extend lah, takpun merana la kau amek klas Spring/Summer tiap-tiap taun. But I rather kena torture amek more subjects than kena torture for 3 years doing something I really hate.

Kenape la tiap-tiap tahun ade je benda macam ni? The hardest part in my life is when I was in boarding school for two years. I hate, I loathe, I seriously shit hate that school, the environment, the place, the fish served at Dewan Selera, everything related to that school. But I survived, it was hard, tuhan je tahu rasa kesusahan dia. Macam kena bangun pukul 4 pagi tolong mak buat kuih, pergi menoreh getah, pergi sekolah, petang jual kuih dekat pasar malam.

If I know this kind of thing is going to happen, I wouldn't come here for the first place. But who are we to know our future and I keep telling myself that this is one form of God's test given to me.

Of course I know what the hell is bersih. Look at their website. Everything look so good, 'clean' and even the name itself is clean but one thing that my teacher told me is not to believe in what you see and read. Semua pun propaganda. And I was like, snap! That might be true.

Let's look back at the history. Tak payah jauh-jauh nak tengok history Latin America ke Africa ke. Just few years before we got our independence, did you still remember what Japan did to us? The slogan they used? Sound so good but people don't see it coming and actually believe that Japan is helping us?

I survived. Alhamdulillah. It was rough, tiring and fun. I'm glad that I decided to try water rafting and it was...FUN (I screamed like a mofo bitch). I'll blog about it later and it was one hell of an experience fella! Thank you God :)

At first I wanted to follow few people to the legislation building to watch fireworks. I'm sure there's some parade or something going on but I'm just too lazy to go out and watch. Then I changed my mind because I'm so sleepy and I need to get some rest because I'm going to Banff after Subuh (3am in the mo') and it is about 2 hour drive from here and lepas sampai terus kena hiking. The legislation building ni jalan kaki pun sampai, naik train satu station je pun.

I forgot how near it is my house with the legislation building, tengah tidur bunyi boooooommm. Nasib takde penyakit lemah jantung. Lama pulak tu 20 minit.

I can never remember the song. OOOOO CANADAAAA. Tu je reti. And yes, US make a lot fun of Canadians. Happy Canada Day Canadians!

To some people Google Talk is something old but for me is new! This is a perfect tool for student studying overseas or you know maybe people who's on vacation or something, roaming charges can be so frikkin expensive. Calling card sometimes pain in the ass. They just suck... I know you can still chat through Yahoo Messenger, MSN Messenger, Facebook Chat, Skype, iChat, ooVoo and etc. Video calls or just normal IM is free but you know sometimes you just want to call their cellphone!

For example it is your bff's birthday and you never miss to wish her on time but unfortunately that year you have to go out of town and you're too broke to use your cell and she's somewhere else having her party and you don't wanna miss it and you know that she will not come on skype/ym soon. That's sad but don't worry, technology is getting better, they save your money and everything is at your fingertips. Okay let's say your bff is in Malaysia (my hometown!) and you're in Canada. You have two options.

OPTION 1 - SKYPE

Dial pad -> select country -> enter phone no -> start dialing

Pay As You Go/Prepaid

Subscription but only for one country.

What they don't tell you : you have to buy for 3 months sekali guys bengong. If you're student ok la but if you're on vacation nak buat hape beli sampai 3 bulan ye dop?

Montreal : Day 3

I got my laptop back last Friday. I knew it the charger is fucked up. I know my Montreal post is old but whatever, this is something worth reading when I get older. Sweet old days. That's the purpose of me having a blog, it's like a diary/journal that I know I'll be having fun reading when I get older. Some people blog for fame and money but mine is not like that :)

So on third day we woke up early (trying to be productive) and we're hungry, we took the metro and we went to Juliette Et Chocolat. They're not open yet so we waited patiently while taking some pictures of the street. This is the second location (Keat Yang brought us to the other location the next day) and this is nearby McGill University I guess, to be honest I can't remember.

I know some people might say these girls are wasting their money and blah blah blah. Let me tell you this. Canadians get paid to go vacation and did you know that leisure is stated in Declaration of Human Rights by United Nations, it is as important as having education, freedom of speech and etc. We're just trying to 'live' according to what has been outlined and from the research that I have at learn school, leisure can improve our quality of life as well as many other benefits. So, STFU.

After that 'healthy breakfast' we had, we took the metro and we went to Biodome Montreal. It was raining that time and this place is indoor so yeah we decided to give a shot even though the description of this place is pretty.. lame.

Sorry for the not-so-long-hiatus. I still haven't got my baby macbook yet and my senior's laptop I'm using is quite old and slow and the screen blinks every 3 seconds and some letters on the keyboard needs to be pressed HARD. Unfortunately this is the only thing I have to keep me entertain and blogging is not fun when you have to do it on someone's else computer. I feel uncomfortable and awkward.

I'm planning to do water fasting to cleanse my body but not the actual fasting for Muslims because Maghrib over here masuk pukul 10pm or something and Subuh before 4am.Okay enough for today, will be back soon after I get my laptop back.

01. Happy Father's Day to my dad and to all fathers or to father-to-be and father wannabes. (lame)
02. I've been busy (SUPER BUSY)
03. Sit for finals from Wednesday to Friday (equivalent to studying and staying up back to back), rent a truck after the last paper, moved two houses (me and my friend's house), cleaned up the house, checked out, say byebye to my friends because they are going back to Malaysia (how depressing)
04. My laptop is broken :(

Don't worry it's still under warranty and I can get everything fixed for free, I kinda like hoping the whole laptop is destroyed so Apple could replace it with a new Macbook Pro but I doubt that plus I have all of the Montreal and other pictures stored in that macbook. :( It seems like the charger is being a total ass but whatever. I'm using my friend's laptop at the moment.

New house is great :) Housemate is great :) Hmm what else. I have 3 months period of not doing anything and I've listed all of the possibilities of what I wanna do this Summer (the heck am sayin)

01. Get a job
02. Learn English
03. Watch movies all day for 3 months
04. Go back home
05. Go to US

I can go back home if I want to (and if dad wanna pay for it hahahaha) but I'm not sure what I'm going to do in Malaysia. Probably hang out at the usual place, you know where else, meet friends, do nothing, facebooking, blogging... ... .... If I'm not going back I'm not going to cry myself to sleep and celebrate raya alone. InysaAllah if ada rezeki I might be going to Nashville, Tennessee. I can take the bus and go Pennsylvania to meet my friend, take a bus from there to New York, take the bus from New York to Toronto, take the flight from Toronto back to Edmonton. Ok that might sound too much isn't it. Eh stop saying I'm wasting money, I'm a TOURISM student hello? What else to do other than traveling hehehehe. I paid few hundreds for that US visa of course I want to make use of it but see how first *counting coins from my piggy bank*

Montreal: Day 2 Part 2 (finally...)

The name of the restaurant yang kiteorang pergi tu is Nonya Cuisine (tak ni bukan typo, memang eja dia Nonya). Tak ingat lah dekat mana, we just follow google maps. Oh masa ni kiteorang baru discover yang pintu bus dekat Montreal kena pusing-pusing handle baru terbukak, dia tak bukak automatically. Masa tu kiteorang nak turun bus, then bus berhenti we waited patiently for the door to open, ada makcik tu nak turun jugak buat muka "WTF". Mana tau door kena pusing-pusing handle baru nak bukak.....

Hotel kiteorang betul-betul belakang train, jalan kaki 2-3 mins je. Depan hotel pulak station bas.

Sampai-sampai je kedai, an Asian looking lady greeted us "Selamat Datang". Confirm lah kiteorang muka belacan, dia ingatkan kiteorg Indonesian. Agagag kiteorang iras-iras Indo yang macam Agnes Monica tu kottt bukan yang jual tempe dekat Chow Kit ok.

Menu : SATE WEI, RENDANG WEI. nangis. ya Allah dah setahun kot tak makan sate. Sedap gila sate dengan kuah kacang dengan nasi himpit...... T_T serious sedih. Dah berbulan bulan duduk sini first time kot pergi restaurant nampak menu macam ni. Kalau dekat kedai Thailand jual sate pork. Ew.

Eventhough kedai ni serve Halal foods, still ada serve Alcoholic drinks as well because mat salleh suka minum wine and etc masa makan.

Then the seller refund my money and I decided to purchase another one. Harharhar. So I received the one I just purchased and few months later, I received another parcel of falsies. -__- So basically I got 4 boxes of falsies for free bitches! I know they look so scary isn't it? I got a new house, weeks ago, paid the deposit and first month's rent and that's why I'm broke. By the way, let's forget about the money money money, we just want the world dance, forget about the price tag. Back to the story, so yeah this is the house.

Ni residence uni, they have few types to choose from but this one is the safest, I guess. Time to make friends with local people pulak, to improve my communication skills cewah. Located at the east of the university, bangun lagi 30 mins before class pun still boleh pergi. Yesterday I went to check out my new house. Sadly, I didn't bring any camera so I can't show it to you guys. And I saw a blonde girl inside my new house, probably my housemate. Ah well hope she's nice. It's a good thing though, because all of my friends (most of them) are going back to Malaysia next week :'( With a housemate maybe I'll have someone to talk to.

Told you guys that I just bought a new Samsung ST700 for my vacation trip last May. Extremely new (one month old or so but I used this only for my one weak trip). This is the latest model from Samsung. Go and check at lowyat, baru masuk retail at RM1100. I love Samsung Camera because of the features. Dah seminggu tak update blog. Why? Busy ar. What do you expect.. Last week ada midterm Calculus, next upcoming week ada midterm Statistics, plus three homework assignments and lab assignment to be submitted every week. Spring class memang laju gila.

I watched Barcelona Vs Man Utd this afternoon and what a good game ey. Man Utd fans just need to accept this, nak buat cemana. But to get to enter the final is good enough, luck wasn't by your side (or not good enough I shall say? :P). I know why the hell am I talking about football? It's peer pressure.

Semalam ada activity BBQ lagi (ah you know, activity budak-budak study overseas memang BBQ je pun, kang kalau party liar ade pulak mak bapak tak senang duduk pergi call bomoh tu bomoh ni pawangkan anak-anak depa jadi baik....)

Kerana tilam hotel empuk gila, I think we both woke up late that morning. Luck wasn't by our side when we were in Montreal because it was raining for the whole weak. Tak suka hujan. Montreal wasn't too cold nor too hot. Not too cold for my definition is around 7 - 15 degrees? Ye la kalau winter cecah -40celcius, 7 celcius ape ade hal kan?

Pagi tu dapat call from The Source (kedai elektronik) yang my new baby camera has arrived. Remember I told you about the Samsung ST700 I just bought? I purchased it online from their website and request to deliver dekat kedai Montreal. We have no idea dekat mana The Source tu. Tapi biasa la belasah jer.. kate tourist eceh.

Kiteorang pun berjalan-jalan, memandangkan keluar dah lambat we olls nak pergi brunch dulu. Jalan punya jalan jumpa Restaurant Rimal. A Lebanese restaurant, jual daging mentah and makanan halal.

Steak served together with this :

Long cut short, kiteorang jumpa and masuk mall ni by accident. According to the map the store is somewhere inside the mall. Pusing punya pusing punya pusing terjumpa lah kedai tu. Yeay yibbah yibbah yibbah new camera camwhore alert camwhore alert!

Lepas ni kiteorang dah pancit sebab jalan macam jauh. Bwahah. So we went to buy mineral water, chocolates and some snack untuk bawak balik hotel. Dari sini kiteorang amek the Metro, apparently, the train and metro is different.

X : Train or Metro?
A : errrrr. Metro?

Keat Yang told us later yang train tu jalan atas darat, Metro tu underground, so yes lain. Tapi public transportation Montreal superb. Kiteorang jalan satu Montreal for a week naik public transportation je. Tak naik taxi langsung. 3 Days unlimited pass is only $16 - boleh naik bus and Metro sekali.

Metro dia underground, yang betul betul underground. Kena naik lift or tangga berlapis-lapis baru betul-betul sampai dekat landasan dia. Wei korang paham tak aku cakap ni?! Susah nak terangkan pasal Metro ni, tapi takpe la korang bukan nak pergi sini pun. Hehehe.

Moving on, kami pun balik lah ke hotel and then tengok TV. It was raining outside that time. Dah nak malam sikit dah kelaparan we went to this Indonesian Cuisine Restaurant.. We almost cried when we were there, ya Allah lama gila tak makan makanan ala-ala Malaysia (read: tu kan Indonesian cuisine restaurant). Nak tau apa kiteorang makan? Jeng jeng jeng tunggu next entry pulak kayy!

Bila cakap Bonjour je diorang terus assume you can speak French. Most of them can speak English, but some of them can't. Kita duduk Malaysia pun reti cakap English, ni duduk dalam negara Canada pun tak reti... Dari airport sampai hotel dalam 30 minit je kot. Hotel kiteorang dekat downtown. Which is fantastic. Just few minutes walk to St. Catherine (tempat makan, shopping best gila wei...ok don't get me started).

Wei tak malu wei mintak tips. Kt Edmonton mana ada kasi tips... The hotel is quite nice. Flight dari Edmonton pagi, tapi campur 4 jam penerbangan + 3 jam perbezaan masa, sampai terus dah petang.. Hotel is surprisingly nice.... Two queen beds for two people. Awesome posum. Hugs and kisses with Munie, dah lama gila tak jumpa!

After sesi gossip-gossip, Munie was craving for some Japanese food. I? Steady... Japanese ke Zimbabwe ke... hari-hari pun craving. Menggunakan perkhidmatan paling berkuasa di alaf 2011 ni, we found this one kedai nama dia Sushi - Ya. Sushi ya? Hahaha menggunakan Google Maps dekat iPhone (show off sikit bwahahaha) kiteorg pun konon-konon nak berjalan kaki pergi Sushi-Ya tapi... well you know GIRLS CANT READ MAPS, always fail one... Jadi dah sesat-sesat kiteorg jumpa this kedai randomly nama Sushi Crescent. All you can eat/buffet/makan sampai muntah/tamak haloba for only $20+? Tak ingat berapa.

Sebab I baik, no food pics taken at this restaurant, nanti serious shit korang terliur gila punya nanti. So nah tengok menu je lah ok (padahal dah kantoi perangai tamak haloba sampai terlupa amek gambar makanan) Quality gambar rendah, amek guna handphone je. Ahh sedapnya! Tapi takoyaki dia tak umph sangat, california roll and etc sedap, hands down.

As I told you before the tax kat sini mahal, have to pay almost thrice what I have to pay in Alberta. You bloody Malaysians, be grateful. Tax sikit bising, amek kau dekat sini 13%, korang sure die. The total bill is $55, kami dengan baik hati lah cakap nah $60, keep the change. Ecewah. Sekali the waitress cakap tak cukup, the tips usually we have to pay 10%-15% from the total bill, lagi $2! What the.................

You know in Alberta we usually don't give tips. Kat pemandu taxi ke, pergi kedai makan ke, when I was working in Starbucks pun nobody gives tips but it's up to you, kalau baik hati kasi la kan, but we normally don't give that much. Around $1 - $2 je. But in Quebec (the province of Montreal) tips is like a must, you don't pay they gonna make you pay no matter what. What does it mean by tips is the percentage (10-15%) of your total bill, bukan coins 60 sen yang korang tinggalkan sebab taknak beratkan poket.

Lepas makan kami berjalan sekitar St. Catherine yang panjang nak dekat 11 km? Ape kau nak? You name it semua kedai ada. Forever 21 dia 4 tingkat (if I'm not mistaken) termasuk basement, H&M, Guess, Apple Store, Aldo, MNG, Zara, Betsey Johnson, Tommy Hilfiger and etc. Semua bertingkat-tingkat. I like the concept you, bukan dalam shopping mall, feeling ala-ala shopping macam Kim Kardashian. Unfortunately, due to our kejakunan we didn't take any pictures around this area and I'm just being nice don't want to make you guys terliur... Ehehehehe.

After berpeleseran around St. Catherines kiteorang pun balik hotel dan hibernate. Simpan energy for tomorrow. That's it for Day 1, nothing much.

Patut nya karipap......tapi kulit karipap tak jadi, so tak dapat nak kepit kepit hujung dia. Buat bulat-bulat je jadi macam kuih pau goreng... Inti sedap ok. Masak sendiri tau :') nangis sikit. Tapi Aimi tolong buatkan karipap jadi bulat-bulat.

Masakan Dua.

CREAM PUFF inti custard! Dekat sini tah pape takde cream puff inti custard. Yang ada chocolate la, mango la, letak whipped cream la. Tak best... Dulu masa Form 3 selalu beli cream puff gajah dekat Bakers Cottage masa tuition dekat Saujana Gemilang. RM1.20 je. Sekarang ni tah berapa ringgit tah agak nya. Tapi Cream Puff Bakers Cottage tak best sangat sebab dia besar sangat and serve chilled. Ni baru keluar oven makan panas-panas.. Sedapp ok. Don't judge a book by its cover. Rupa memang hodoh, but for first timer kira impressive la ni.

Ok bye nak kena buat assignment!

I have so many things to blog tapi tak sempat-sempat lagi. Bukan nya tak ada masa free langsung, but life is too awesome to waste it on blogging! Muehehehe. Weather fuhlamak, heaven! Panas and windy. Bila pergi uni ramai lepak-lepak sun bathing pun ada atas padang dekat uni. Siap picnic lagi.

On the other note, I just bought a new compact camera but I'm going to pick it up later. Yes I bought it online just now. Survey camera ni sebulan jugak lah. Nak beli DSLR ke Nikon ke Canon ke ape ke. But yeah... Those kids with SLR are posers. Padahal amek gamba sama je macam I amek guna iPhone I. Dah lah berat, and the additional lenses can cost more than the body itself and takde masa lah nak belajar guna SLR ni. Baik belajar masak.

By the way my new camera is from Samsung! Why samsung? Because my previous camera was samsung and I'm in love with certain features that is only available for Samsung. The reason why I upgrade is because I've lost the charger and cables and I need a good camera to take pictures because I'm going on vacation later beeches (dua hari lagi!!). I'll make a review on that camera later and ohhh I got myself a polaroid camera as well! :) Tak risau sangat kalau camera tu tak best because kalau tak suka resell or return je lah balik. I swear to God Canada's Exchange and Return policy is the bomb. Beli, tak suka return, tak suka return. Customer satisfaction yang penting.

Okay ya ya I know they are open today. Haven't got the chance to visit it yet... From what I read (on their Facebook fan page) Sephora Malaysia don't carry NARS eh? Is it true? Sokay you can get it from me HAHAHAHA. but Sephora do carry Soap & Glory. Sephora sini takde jual Soap & Glory, tapi jual dekat drugstore. Their packaging is really cute, ala-ala Benefit.

Do tell me if you guys have visited Sephora! How about the price? The interior? Staff dia make up over macam pekerja kedai MAC Malaysia tak? Looking forward to visit one in KL!

So from what I've heard and read, people are not satisfied with what they get/see/service/products sold. No NARS (but they say they're coming...just a bit late), Tokidoki, Philosophy, Temptu, YSL, Stila cosmetics and etc. And yes it's disappointing to hear that Sephora Malaysia are carrying drugstore products as well.. Someone asked whether they carry Crest Whitening Strips or not. What the... woi! The price is more or less the same as in Canada, but definitely more expensive than Sephora in United States.

Ah cheer up people, it's definitely better than nothing kan! I'm just wondering do they carry Korres products as well? One more thing, their exchange and return policy -- 7 hari sahaja. Kena make your mind up betul-betul before beli and I'm not sure whether you are allowed to try it out first or you can't open it at all because usually in Malaysia if we want to exchange/return it must be unopened, still with tag and receipt. Other than skincare products, I usually don't buy stuffs from Sephora (very rarely) because I found their products are... expensive? I just bought my Laura Mercier foundation, Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow and few MAC stuffs few days ago from an online store and the price is wayyy cheaper than what I have to pay if I bought those in Sephora.

That happened to me this morning before I left home to school and it is also a good sign that the weather has been nice and lovely lately. Eventually, things will get better. Yes, they do. You just have to wait.

On the other note, I'm so sad because most of friends are going back to Malaysia this June and I'll be doing my Summer course alone. During Ramadhan (this Summer) Maghrib masuk pukul 8 - 9 something ye kawan-kawan. Subuh masuk pukul 3 - 4 am ye. Omg confirm jadi bangkai, dah la sorang-sorang memang malas la kan nak masak... :( That's why I'm planning to go back this mid August until early September, buffet Ramadhan dekat Malaysia... masykudap kudappp.

Back in college dulu ada penyakit stress, yang sampai doctor suruh quit study (nasib baik tak ikut cakap dia, wek), he even gave me sleeping pills so that I can sleep well at night. So dekat sini takut sangat the same thing happen because I can't handle stress, sounds funny kan, tapi betul lah! Tak tipu k.

Ni lah dia cara I nak cope with stress during exam week (tipu, alasan. padahal....) Duit kan dah masuk, tiba-tiba jadi orang kaya, tak biasa lah tengok bank account mencecah sampai 4 angka. Kena get rid of it sikit, baru lah afdhal. Hahaha kaplotak kau. Okay tapi ni betul, tak tahan nafsu sebenarnya.

Me and Diane went to South Edmonton Common, where all the outlet stores are located. Heaven i tell you!

Teenage Mom

Musim exam normal lah stay up late night kan, bila dah penat, take a break kejap, usha-usha facebook. Lepastu terjumpa lah kawan-kawan lama masa sekolah menengah before masuk asrama. Terkejut sangat sangat bila tengok budak-budak yang consider 'liar' masa kt sekolah dulu dah kawen and ada anak. (I didn't mean to judge who's good who's bad, sorry)

Wow. Umur sebaya, tapi beza nya I tengah struggle lagi belajar, hingusan, dengan perangai tak semenggah lagi, kira macam budak-budak lagi lah, tp dorang dah kahwin, pergi holiday dengan family, jaga anak. Gambar dengan suami, pegang anak.

HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE A MOM AT THIS AGE?

I'm not sure whether I'm normal or not but for sure I'm shit scared when it comes to marriage. And the whole process of becoming a mom (delivering babies and etc).. I just can't think of it right now. I can't see myself to be a wife, or to be a mom, at this age. For me my teenage life is going to end once I get married, how can you enjoy your teenage life when you have baby/babies to take care and you have to carry such a big responsibility?

I have no problem with people getting married at this age, in fact it's amazing, but I just can't see myself in their shoes. Hidup diri sendiri sekarang ni pun terumbang ambing, masak untuk tekak sendiri pun tak pandai-pandai lagi, ape tah lagi untuk keluarga? Untuk anak? Jaga anak? Tukar lampin anak? I mean seriously, ingat senang ke buat decision nak kahwin. Ingat boleh ke harini kahwin, esok kalau rasa tak suka cerailah, kalau dah ada anak, buang sudah dalam tong sampah? (Astarghfirullah) Your life is going to change, completely, and there's no turning back for you. And ah, not to mention the process of searching/getting the Mr.Right to spend with for the rest of your life.

My definition of Mr. Right is literate, at least a degree holder, financially stable and kind. Handsome is a bonus. HAHA! So if you think you have the traits that I'm looking for, tunggu apa lagos, hantar lah resume. Hahaha JK.

I think it has been awhile since I last talk about my..life? I mean, rambling, rants, whatever you wanna call that. Yes, I'm not done with finals yet, 3 more papers left. To be honest, I feel so lazy. Maybe because throughout the semester I've been busy and struggling with assignments and the very last task, which is the final exam, I tend to feel all lazy and unmotivated because I feel like I've had enough. But the last minute time like this is the most important because most of the time, I push myself hard at the end. High school life is pretty similar with university life, except I have so many blonde classmates with big boobies who plays hockey and soccer and we have to finish a thick book in 4 months.

I hate what I'm taking. That's the fact. It's not that tough, I mean Chemistry and all of the shits I've to take back in school is way harder than this. But I just hate psychology (most of the subjects I'm taking is based on psychology) and so many things to memorize. It's like biology, you don't have to think that deep, just read, understand it and memorize it. Wallah, you can do it. You don't have to think, calculate, practice, like maths. Can you read maths? No right. The catchy here is that you have to COMPETE. Yes competition like fffffuuuu. Even though I got nearly 100 on assignments but everybody gets the same result as mine, so I ended up getting a B, which is the average. Not fair like that. Isk :(

This Spring I'm going to take two calculus based maths subject. Oh em jayy, it has been a year since last I took math. My brain is all rusty now but I'm not too worry, I have a bunch of Engineering friends who can do maths pretty good. Why am I telling you this? No idea. Okay I have to get back on psychology stuff. Byebye!

2 down, 3 more to go. The first two papers were fine, multiple choice, tak tau pun tembak je lah kan. Kalau essay....tak tau nak jawab nak tembak ape huh? Pap pap pap pap, eh tinggal 12 hari je lagi nak go on vacation #likeaboss. Orang mesti macam "eh apesal budak tu jakun sangat huh tak pernah pergi holiday ke" oh for your information memang pun, ni baru 2nd time independently nak pergi vacation.

1st time masa winter break (itupun bayar je, orang lain settlekan). Yang lain-lain tu... kem motivasi ikut trip sekolah agama dengan balik kampung or family vacation (I can't recall when was the last time we had family vacation, everybody's busy with their own life)... does it count? NO.

Beberapa minggu yang lalu (karangan spm punya ayat sepam) kiteorang booked this hotel. Nampak cantik nyaaaa unik nyaaa. Lepas book, baru terpanggil nak baca review and eee hotel ape ade bed bugs ni?!! Ni dah macam Rumah Tumpangan Ah Kit Siang je. Freaked out, me and my 'bf' decided to cancel this place. Lol... takkan lah pergi 'honeymoon' dengan bf kan, I'm going with my ex roommate back in Taylor's. Kiteorang pretend jadi lesbian couple for a week since gay/lesbian is legal in Canada... Kang kalau tak clarify ade pulak yang comment "Astarghfirullah pergi vacation dengan boyfriend..anak melayu rosak akhlak!!" Lulz lepas tu mula lah ade mulut-mulut jahat buat cerita then report parents I.. and so on and so forth, pernah terjadi, that's why berani cakap.

Nampak good enough, at least a real hotel, with a valid official website. Reviews pun meyakinkan, takde la yang cakap "PICTURE DID NOT REFLECT THE ACTUAL ROOM!". Harga pun lebih kurang dengan hotel yang kiteorang cancel tadi. We're going to stay for almost a week, of course la nak a nice place to stay. Kalau semalam tak kisah lah kan. Harap-harap semua nya berjalan dengan lancar.

I was at Khalid's blog (I can't exactly remember how I know him, maybe through his sister, when I was... 14? From our PM, Najib Tun Razak to DAP/PKR/PAS to Freemason/Iluminati and he's fighting with a lot of other bloggers as well...

Funny, funny, funny guy. Oh he writes insanely crazy long posts. Gilaaa. I'm amazed lah on how he can remember all of his blog posts? because.. every post when he's referring to another post (biarpun post tu dah lama gila) he will include it, oh lupa.. he's a genius of course he can remember everything! Hello, I'm cheapskate like that. Satu baju biasa-biasa lapan puluh ringgit, hurrrr memang tak ar. Sebenarnya sama je dekat sini. Kalau satu baju $23 bila convert jadi RM72. Tapi $23 tu kira macam dua puluh tiga ringgit je la kat sini, tak payah la convert, kalau semua benda nk convert pakai telekung je lah macam tu.

Semalam saja survey baju F21 (petanda allowance semakin hampir. ka-ching!) online and I saw this! This! This! This! This!

Ingat lagi baju ni beli masa first time masuk F21 dengan Nada and Mary! And that was...months ago? Masa bulan august or early september. Now F21 jual under New Arrivals? Palotak kau new arrivals! And if you're a regular visitor you can notice that baju-baju mereka jual sama kain/corak tapi lain pattern/type.

Maksudnya baju yang tak laku from season lepas dia re-sell ke? Ke sambutan hangat sangat sampai dia re-stock? Should I feel flattered or offended? Ah no big deal, baju dua puluh dollar je. Lama gila nak tunggu cerita 2 Alam ni leak dekat internet, finally, harini dapat jugak tengok! Nak tengok sangat-sangat sebab banyak sangat kontroversi pasal cerita ni. Dr. Rozmey rambut cendawan lulzz. Comel kot. Siapa belum tengok cerita ni baik jangan baca post ni sebab I nak review pasal the whole story. Nanti kata spoiler pulak. Tapi tak payah tengok pun tak apa.

Mengisahkan tentang Adam, seorang budak yang pandai, pandai dekat Sekolah, pandai mengaji dan member baik dengan si X (sebab dalam cerita dia tak mention nama ustaz tu, rasanya lah). Adam ni fly pergi London, kawan dia tu fly pergi Mesir. Pendek cerita Adam tukar jantina dan kahwin dengan Mat Salleh di London (ni konon macam kisah benar Fatine Young tuu laa) manakala kawan dia yang pergi Mesir tu balik kampung jadi ustaz.

Satu hari dia pergi clubbing dengan boyfriend dia, dah mabuk boyfriend dia kata nak bawak pergi paradise, paradise waklu, pergi ladang mana tah lepastu konon nak buat maksiat dalam kereta, tapi kena serang dengan 3 orang samseng, lepastu Adam/Amy kena rogol, boyfriend dia kena belasah.

Kenapa cerita Melayu suka masukkan watak samseng...yang bodoh? Macam bodoh-bodoh alang, funny ke? Scene samseng rogol Amy tu ew, disgusting gila. Macam cerita seks murahan.

Then the next day boyfriend Amy tu datang rumah, dia cerita kt Amy yang dia buat police report. Amy marah gila sebab dia kata kalau media tau macam mana? Then dorang sort of break up lepas tu. Pap pap dalam surat khabar ada cerita Amy ni sebenarnya transgender atau bapok atau pondan atau maknyah. Lepastu Amy menangis and tiba-tiba ada scene boyfriend dia pakai swimming trunk dengan dia pakai bikini and oversized white shirt tepi swimming pool berjalan-jalan. Sumpah, ape motif scene ni? Dah gaduh lepastu nak pusing-pusing keliling swimming pool lepastu dua-dua masuk swimming pool? MOTIFFF???

Fine. Lepastu Amy bunuh diri. Jenazah dia bawak balik kampung, dah sampai dekat kampung mandi mayat semua on the way nak ke kubur tayar van meletup. Lepastu dorang kena usung jenazah sampai masjid tapi struggle gila sebab berat.

Tengah-tengah struggle usung jenazah ade scene lelaki gemuk ni taknak usung jenazah sebab dia kata dia tak suci, belum mandi wajib. Motifff? Perlu ke part ni? Nak emphasize lelaki ni masturbate? Zzzzz.

Dah sampai kubur, tak muat pulak, mayat tersangkut la ape la. Then ustaz (member Adam dulu masa kecik-kecik) bagitau mak Adam yang dia suruh kebumikan jenazah Adam luar dari kawasan kubur tu. Cerita Carekarama TV3 pun lagi best kot. Saya beri 1.5 bintang untuk 2 Alam. 0.5 tu credit untuk rambut Dr. Rozmey. Hahaha!

Dr. Rozmey menghebahkan kutipan hari pertama adalah 2juta padahal Finas memberitahu kutipan hanyalah RM230k je. Tipu, pentipu, kau tipu tipu tipu orang lagi. Ade ke film macam ni dia target sampai RM40 juta. Ingat ni Hollywood ke?

Scene cerita ni banyak sangat ulang-ulang lah. Boringggg. Lepastu sekejap tunjuk mandi mayat, baru nak insaf, tiba-tiba tunjuk scene atas katil. Hahahahaha.

Detox symptoms #1

Acne/pimples/rashes.

Okay I don't really on 'detox' -- the only detox method that I've tried is waster fasting -- but I've been drinking quite a lot of green tea, about 4-5 cups a day (yes I'm kinda obsessed to be healthy and get back in space) for about 5-6 days now. Since green tea is capable to remove toxins from your body, so my body is kind of detoxifying? Whatever, you get my point.

So one thing that I've noticed so far is acne/pimples. It is very rare for me to get pimples especially here, in Canada because the weather is cold and dry, I do get pimples once in a blue moon. Even though I go to sleep without removing my make up (which is really bad) I'll wake up the next day with no breakouts. One or two pimples might pop out in a month.

But right now, I've noticed that I got pimples on my face - more than usual! They appear in a cluster on certain areas such as on my forehead, chin, cheek and my back! This is unusual because over here we do not sweat and it is too dry. I make some research and yes, it is one of the symptoms that my body is detoxifying. It is good if it is true, isn't it?

Some say that if you have really bad acne, detox might work for you to get a clearer skin but what happens to me is vice versa. I freaked out - a bit.

So yeah because I'm an lazy ass to wash and cleanse my face properly, there might be deposited accumulated underneath my epidermis and the whole detox process is to remove it from my body/skin and since skin is the largest organ, we detox the most through skin - sweat and etc. This is my assumption for now because I just started to drink green tea, juice and eat more fruits.

Yes, I do feel tired a bit and flatus more frequent. Flatus is also a sign that my bowel system is functioning properly. The whole explanation is complicated and I'm not a medical doctor though. I also drank 4-5 cups of smoothies (with fibre added) in a week.

Let's see what's going to happen over time. I'm glad that I'm only 20 when I started this. Just imagine when you're trying to get rid of the toxins from your body when you're 40 and by that time you have consumed way too much toxins for the past 40 years. It's scary you know. That's why some people can't handle the symptoms when their body is detoxifying - just too much toxins and the body can't handle it. Ouch scary. That's why in Islam we need to fast! Fasting is good and you do it every year but the whole fasting and detox thing won't work if you consume too much oily, salty and sugary food for 'bukak puasa'.

One thing that bothers me a lot right now is that final exam is coming - really really really close and I'm here, so unmotivated and lazy.

You know sometimes you will have the spirit to study and want to score and there's time when you feel so lazy and just don't want to give a shit about it but at the same time you have the guilt and you're scared? Exactly what I feel right now.

Sigh.

Not that I choose to feel and be lazy. I really want to study and work my ass off, but I feel so unmotivated and lazy. lazy. lazy!!

Yes. Smack me. It seems like I have to wake up everyday with a lot of things to do! It has been like this for almost 4 months now and I'm going to take Spring and Summer classes as well! Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer - with only two weeks break in between?

Green Tea and weight loss

Few days ago I went to my favourite Japanese restaurant - their Takoyaki isn't that delicious but satisfying enough. Their Salmon Teriyaki is the bomb, Tokyo Prawn Tempura and Mexican Maki (avocado, smoked salmon, crispy tempura, hot sauce) - these are my personal favourite. I don't like their udon though. Their green tea is very cheap! One teapot for $0.95. Whattt?

I drank a teapot of green tea all by myself and the next thing I know I can't stop from eliminating gases from my body for 2 freaking days. If you get what I mean hahahaha.

So I decided to do a research (Google je padahal) on green tea benefits. Here's what I found.

2. Can cure and prevent cancer

No wonder Japanese are thin (except sumo) and their life expectancy is high (but sadly Tsunami killed them isk) I'm so going to drink green tea everyday!

I was on the phone with my mom few days ago and she was complaining that my blog is such a bimbo because I've been talking about makeups makeups makeups and makeups. Just to convince you guys that I'm not a bimbo after all, here's the prove on what has been going on in my kitchen lately.

Graham cracker + butter + brown sugar for the base.

I put extra butter, it turned out to be so soft and not crunchy, no likey. :(

4 blocks of cream cheese, flour, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract.

I don't have a mixer, so I use blender instead :P

I only remember to take a picture of my first cheesecake ever after two days in the fridge. -.-" Note that hole at the centre, I 'poke' the cake to check whether it is fully cooked or not . Hahah

Hmm, taste quite good actually, considering that this is my first attempt to bake a cheesecake. Best serve when chilled. I should not put too many eggs because this one tastes more like eggtart. Bwahahah. Oh yes, I'm the worst cooker ever, I admit that.
